Sleep out and help the homeless

Location: Mount Cook School, 160 Tory Street, Wellington

New Zealand's housing crisis is having a devastating impact on our most vulnerable families and individuals. With 1 in 100 Kiwis now classed as homeless because they are living in unsafe or unsuitable locations, many agencies in Wellington are working together to end homelessness under a joint strategy called Te Mahana. Every day, these agencies are helping those experiencing homelessness with access to essential services and safer accommodation. Last year 230 people came together to raise $60,000 at our event in central Wellington to fundraise for one of Wellington agency fundraising projects.

To participate this year, take a look at the agency projects below, select one to fundraise for and then hit “Register Now”. If you are unable to join us for the event you can make a donation to a project through the donation button on this page. Alternatively, you can take part in an offsite event.
