Support the Compassion Soup Kitchen

In 2016 The Compassion Soup Kitchen served over 8,000 Breakfasts, 19,000 dinners and 12,000 volunteer hours were invested. This year The Soup Kitchen has been serving Wellington's most vulnerable people for 116 years and we need your help to continue this work.

Register here to participate in the Soup Kitchen's 14 Hours Homeless event. You can join us at the hosted event or host your own event offsite and raise money for our project. If you are unable to participate but would like to support our project, you might like to make a donation to our cause.

Our vision is to touch the lives of all with the compassion of God by providing support to people inneed. People our society marginalises and isolates; people who suffer with mental health or substance dependency issues, people who find themselves homeless; or anyone who is in atime of crisis or need.

We seek to serve in a way that is respectful, honouring the dignity of the individual and encouraging growth and development.

We seek to build community, and promote access to services in the wider community through meaningful and purposeful activities.

You too can support, or be part of what we do, by hitting the 'Make A Donation' button now or join us on Friday 13th October for 14 Hours Homeless.
